Approved by the State Council of the People's Republic of China and jointly hosted by the Ministry of Science & Technology, the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Information Industry, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the State Intellectual Property Office and the People's Government of Beijing Municipality, the China Beijing International High-tech Expo[herein after called CHITEC] has been held successfully for 9 sessions with the Chinese Academy of Science, the Chinese Academy of Engineering, the China Enterprise Confederation and the China Association of Science and Technology as consultation institutions.
